Star Magic prime artists, undeniably the brightest and biggest stars in showbiz today, take a brave move and reveal their pre-showbiz life. In a special issue of Star Studio Magazine, they show their old photos way before they became the celebrities that they are now.
In the magazine are stories of Piolo Pascual, Bea Alonzo, Kristine Hermosa, Sam Milby, Deither Ocampo, Angelica Panagniban, Jake Cuenca, Shaina Magdayao, Enchong Dee, Erich Gonzales, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson and John Lloyd Cruz.

June 29, 2010 06:28:38 | ENCHONG : Sinave ko talaga ang ktext allotment ko I want to say thank you to seth, ate heidz, ate amy for spending time with us francia, kuya danny, ate dj, tito keren, and with me for visiting boystown and to be able to share nung nakuha namin nung eday, we were able to give them soaps, laundry soaps, electric fans for the each house, irons for each house din, tapos nagdala rin sila ng cakes for 150 kids:) what we did today is really fulfilling and magaan sa loob:) maybe next time I can add pa people to go:)

June 28, 2010 09:32:30pm | ENCHONG : Hala basa na yung set namin… Sobra kasi ulan e:( anyway thank you sa lahat ng nagpromise ng support nila sa magkaribal… Sayang nga kasi sobrang hectic ng sequences namin na kailangan matapos lahat kaya nilulubos namin bawat minuto na pwede magshoot… Pero as early as now I just want to thank everyone for the support that they are giving and going to give:)

Labo nanaman:) kanina kasi habang gumagawa kami ng eksena merong nagbebenta ng gatas, so bumili ako as my dessert tapos paggising ko kinain ko tapos may grapes. So pinagsabay ko na sya… Ang sarap, kahit papano hindi ko talaga kaya magtiis sa hinahanap kong food… So hanap hanap nalang ako ng bagong alternative:)

Ngayong gabi magsisimula ang kauna-unahang fashionserye na Magkaribal. Ito ang magsisilbing TV comeback project ni Gretchen Barretto, na matagal-tagal na rin nating ‘di nakikitang umarte sa isang proyekto. Patutunayan muli ni Bea Alonzo na siya ang teleserye princess ng Dos.
Nakisilip din ang kaparazzi natin sa set ng ‘Magkaribal’. Kung gaano katensiyonado ang trailer ng palabas, ganu’n naman ka-relax ang atmosphere sa dressing room nila! Gusto n’yo rin bang makisilip? Tara na… now na!

Erich Gonzales answers why she's playing a support role in Magkaribal.
MANILA, Philippines - It‘s not the role that counts but what one learns from the role. That‘s Erich Gonzales‘ answer to people who raise their eyebrows when they learn that she‘s playing a support role on ABS-CBN‘s new series, Magkaribal.
These doubting Thomases are itching to find out why the Star Magic talent agreed to play Chloe, a fashion designer wannabe with unresolved personal issues in Magkaribal when last year‘s Katorse cast her in the lead role?
“That‘s no big deal,” replies Erich. “I‘m sure I‘ll learn a lot from my co-stars, Gretchen Barretto and Bea Alonzo (who share the title role). Besides, it‘s about time Enchong (Dee, her perennial screen partner) and I work with veteran actors.“
Erich, as the daughter of a top designer (Angel Aquino), doesn‘t play the main character. But she likes the challenge the role gives her.
Erika Chryselle Gonzales Gancayco
Erich Gonzales, (born Erika Chryselle Gonzales Gancayco) on September 20, 1990 is a Filipina teen actress and one of ABS-CBN's Star Magic artists.
BIOGRAPHY
The youngest of three siblings, she was born in Cebu City but was raised in Davao City. After winning Star Circle Quest, she changed her last name from Gancayco to Gonzales which is her mother's maiden last name.
Gonzales is currently attending college at the Trinity University of Asia in Quezon City.

Magkaribal will change the look of Primetime Bida tonight!
ABS-CBN is making another breakthrough in Philippine TV with Magkaribal, the first ever fashionserye that revolves around the lives of two women, Victoria (Gretchen Barretto), the most glamorous woman in the fashion industry and Gelai (Bea Alonzo) the simple seamstress who will become Victoria’s rival not only in popularity but also in love.
As Gretchen Barretto’s full-blown comeback project to showbiz, she is very thankful that she’s been given a good vehicle to show that she can still act. The last time she appeared in a TV series was roughly a decade ago in Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan and she’s thankful for the public’s warm reception. “Nagpapasalamat ako sa publiko na bawat alis ko o bawat balik ko sa industriya ine-embrace nila ako,wine-welcome nila ako sa showbiz,”
Bea Alonzo on the other hand admits that doing Magkaribal is a refreshing experience for her, being a veteran of ABS-CBN’s seryes. “Nakakatuwa ito kasi bago siyang treatment sa soap opera, first timegagawa ang ABS-CBN ng fashion-serye and personally natutuwa ako na naibigay sa akin itong project na ito kasi from Betty La Fea na na deglamorize ako, this time naman lalabas ako bilang isang glamorous na babae.“
Magkaribal also stars Derek Ramsay, Angel Aquino, Enchong Dee, Erich Gonzales, Nina Ricci Alagao, Bianca Manalo, Mark Gil and Robert Arevalo and is directed by Nuel Naval and Mae Cruz.
The war of the beauties begins on Magkaribal tonight, June 28 after Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo on Primetime Bida.

Ernest Lorenzo “Enchong” Dee
Ernest Lorenzo Dee (born November 5, 1989 in Naga City, Camarines Sur, Philippines) is a Filipino actor, model, and champion swimmer of Chinese descent[1]. He is the younger brother of another Filipino actor model, AJ Dee. Enchong is currently part of ABS-CBN's Star Magic. He played the roles of Blue in the teen-oriented show Abt Ur Luv, Jojo on the soap opera Katorse and Jomari Buenavista on the series Tanging Yaman.
BIOGRAPHY
Ernest Lorenzo “Enchong” Dee graduated from Naga Hope Christian School. He further pursued his swimming career at De La Salle University in Manila. Dee is also part of the Philippine national swim team and has participated in the SEA Games and 2006 Asian Games.
His first TV appearance came in 2006 when he appeared in a Philippine talk show Homeboy as one of the guests. He caught the eye of a modeling agency and advertisers and soon he appeared in several advertising campaigns including Bench, KFC and Timex.
In 2007, he started acting and has appeared on “Sineserye”, “Komiks: Pedro Penduko at ang mga Engkantao”, “Abt Ur Luv” book 1 & 2, “My Girl” and “Your Song Presents: My Only Hope”, “Maruja”, Katorse and Tanging Yaman.
Enchong is actively supporting various charitable projects and events, he is part of "Magic for a Cause Charity Fashion Show" that benefited victims of Typhoon Ketsana (Ondoy) and Parma (Pepeng

Bonding lang with bros pero ito pa yung picture namin sa hospital, nakalabas na si mama kaya lang dapat sa bahay lang sya totally kasi kailangan nya pa magrecover, kasi nung pagbalik nya sa bahay kahapon napagod uli sya tapos nanghina kagad:( I really hate the feeling of any sickness… Ngayon lang ako nakatext sa inyo kasi ang late na rin ako natapos kagabi, zombie nanaman ako… Heheh:)

Anyway just having a bonding time with the whole family, kanina kompleto kami nagdinner pero sa kwarto lang ni mama and papa kasi hindi pa pwede maglakad si mama, we ate together tapos ngayon we went out my kuya and anggie to watch toy story 3:) sana mawala ang kalungkutan ko for awhile just ny watching movie… Ang dami nagsasabi nakakaiyak tsaka ang ganda daw ng movie na to e:) heheh! Anyway andito ako ngayon sa shoot ng UAAP opening ang ganda ng concept hero na hero ang dating, invite ko kayo sa july 10 sa araneta or sa SM opening ata:) I’m going to be the reincarnated green archer:) mamaya send ko sa inyo mga looks namin pero ask muna ko permission kung pwede kasi baka secret pa eh:) harness uli… Ouch!

June 24, 2010 11:30:46am | ENCHONG : Happy manila day to all manilenyos at happy san juan day din:) kanina nagddrive ako nakita ko to sa streets ng aurora blvd… Sooooobrang traffic pero moving naman… Medyo nakakahassle lang pero nakakatawa sila kasi nagtatapon sila ng tubig sa mga taong dadaan, like yung mga nasa jeep, mga nakamotor, at yung naglalakad na mga tao:) hahah! May napipikon pero meron din na mga nakikisama:) lahat ng tao nasa labas tsaka very cool lang:) sayang sa tubig pero kita mo nagkakaisa mga tao sa pagtapon ng tubig sa mga tao:) heheh:)
